Keep today’s dispatch cutoff visible in the email.

Publish one weekly cutoff schedule with explicit date exceptions in the merchant timezone. Each new image request calculates whether an order still qualifies for today’s estimated dispatch.

How it works

  1. 1

    Describe the merchant

Set the merchant name, optional fulfillment label, and named timezone.

  2. 2

    Author weekly cutoffs

For each weekday, enter the order cutoff for same-date estimated dispatch or choose No dispatch.

  3. 3

    Add date exceptions

Replace one local date with a different cutoff or a planned no-dispatch day.

  4. 4

Choose a composition and optional link

Use Dispatch card or Cutoff strip, then optionally link the PNG to the saved store page.

The finished widget is a plain image URL inside a link — paste it into your template, or your email editor’s image block, like this:

Example embed snippet

<a href="https://dynamail.io/c/YOUR-TRACKED-LINK"><img src="https://img.dynamail.io/widgets/YOUR-WIDGET-ID/render.png" width="360" height="416" alt="Order cutoff and estimated dispatch date" /></a>

YOUR-WIDGET-ID is a placeholder — every widget you create gets its own id. This widget uses a static PNG for broad email-client support. Use descriptive alt text so readers can understand the image when images are off or a screen reader reads the email.

Each render captures one minute and finds the first eligible estimated dispatch date within today and the next 13 local dates. Email clients and their image proxies may cache the PNG after fetching it. No script, no custom HTML, nothing for your email platform to strip out.

What it’s for

  • Retail — show how long remains for today’s estimated dispatch
  • Promotions — pair a time-sensitive offer with truthful dispatch timing
  • Closures — move the message to the next scheduled dispatch date
  • Stores — link readers to a page that confirms current shipping information

How schedule freshness works

  • The saved schedule is authoritative

Weekly cutoffs and date exceptions stay fixed until you edit and save the widget.

  • New renders resolve the current minute

A new image request recalculates eligibility and remaining time in the merchant timezone.

  • Inbox caches can retain an earlier image

An email application or image proxy may keep a previously fetched image. The store page can confirm current information.

One saved dispatch schedule and store page

Configure the schedule in the dashboard. Public render URLs only carry standard display controls.

?locale=en-USFormat dates and times for a supported locale
?pixelRatio=2Render at 2× for high-density screens

Public render requests cannot override the schedule, destination, merchant details, timezone, current time, state, preview scenario, or geometry.

Frequently asked questions

Does this promise a delivery date?

No. It estimates dispatch from the merchant schedule. Carrier transit, destination, inventory, and delivery timing are separate.

What happens after today’s cutoff?

The image shows the next eligible dispatch date within the saved 14-day schedule window.

How do date exceptions work?

An exception replaces the weekly cutoff for one local date. It can set a different cutoff or no dispatch.

Which timezone does the image use?

All cutoff calculations and displayed times use the named IANA timezone saved with the merchant. The As of line includes a numeric GMT offset.

Will the countdown always be fresh in an inbox?

Email applications and image proxies may retain an earlier image. An optional linked store page can confirm current information.

Can a public render URL change the cutoff schedule?

No. Merchant details, timezone, schedule, destination, current time, preview scenario, and geometry come from the saved widget.
